Day 0

Friday 26th July 2013 - Travel to Carlisle

We left Warwick at around 1pm, made it to Mum and Dad's in Leeds for 3.30pm, and were on the road again by about 4.30pm. We headed up the A1 and over the A66 in bright sunshine, dropped off an overnight bag at the Greystoke B&B as planned, and then headed on up to Carlisle, arriving at about 7pm.

Checked in to the Travelodge, checked out our room (which was roasting hot...) then headed out to Pizza Express for some sustenance. £10 of Tesco vouchers had been converted to £40 to spend on food, so we had a good meal!

Returned to our hotel room to find it feeling hotter than ever, which meant we didn't have a great sleep.
